1.1 The Chair welcomed Members to the meeting of the Children, Young People and Education Committee.
2.1 The Committee scrutinised the Welsh Government.
2.2 The Cabinet Secretary for Health and Social Care agreed to provide the following:
- a date when the Integrated Quality Statement on Children’s Health will be available.
- a list of policy interventions that affect children and young people, highlighting ones where change is needed to improve performance and delivery in a sustainable way and the areas where new investment is needed.
- figures to demonstrate the progress made with the Designed to Smile programme in the most deprived wards.
- Updates on the National Board established to oversee delivery of the Healthy Weight. Healthy Wales delivery plan 2025 to 2027.
2.3 The Committee agreed to send the unasked questions for a written response.
3.1 The Committee scrutinised Medr.
3.2 Medr agreed to provide the committee with the analysis of the work they have done on enrolment trends and when available the consultation findings on a proposed all-age apprenticeship programme.
The papers were noted.
The Committee agreed to write back to the Minister for Mental Health and Wellbeing regarding this letter.
5.1 The motion was agreed.
6.1 The Committee considered the evidence that it had heard in the previous sessions.
